Dr. Lewis C. Kleinhans was making a trip to the West and reached out asking to swing by the Serpentosphere! His curiosity for the rocks is at a really high level, and we absolutely hit it off! We talked to him about his career and passion for rocks and helping veterans. We also dove into the subject of MagmaChem, where it started, and some of the basics of how we use the models to explore natural resources. Lew has a Ph. D out of the Colorado School of Mines, he is someone to reach out to if you’re in Colorado and want to get involved with the societies and what’s happening in the mining and metals world.
